Pastora is a qualified and experienced teacher and worked several years at the academy Noelia Sabarea in Spain. She gave workshops to adults and children in different countries, in Holland in Muziekgebouw aan t IJ and in various theatre academies. In 2020 she was invited by the Escuela Flamenco de Andalucia to form part of this flamenco insitute in Malaga. She received their quality certificate, a recognition for her work by masters like Javier Latorre, La Truco.
Flamenco classes of Pastora are characterised by hard work in a good atmosphere. To form a good technique, confidence and autonomy in rythm, body and music.
Pastora also offers workshops on location, in Holland or abroad.
PASTORA FLAMENCO CLASSES 2024/2025
‘Hay que compartir’ is the motto of Pastora. She believes that flamenco is about sharing, about communication through music, rythm and dance. The students are challenged to be autonomous and to learn to dance in stead of learning a dance. Students are thoroughly trained in the essential techniques, in rythm and musicality in order to express themselves. They sometimes get opportunities to perform.

17.30 - 18.30 Beginners (new) – Tangos, Fandangos
18.30 - 19.45 Intermediate - Bulerías
19.45 - 21.15 Choreoclass Advanced - Technique, choreo, personal coaching and rehearsals. To prepare choreographies for perfomances, the students learn to work together with different musicians.
Classes are given in a new professional dancestudio, with great floor.

Acompanied by live flamenco guitar of the renowned musician Yorgos Valiris. Classes are given in a spacious dancestudio in an historical building in the centre of Haarlem.

12.00 - 13.00 Kidsflamenco
13.00 - 15.00 Flamenco Fundament (Tangos, Bulerías, Alegrías, Sevillanas con castañuelas, abanico, manton, Fandangos con manton, Rumba)
Classes are given in a spacious cultural and local building, in the middle of a square with playground.
All classes from September to July, no class during regular holidays. Sometimes changes in schedule, also related to performances. You pay for attending a period and in this period you will receive information, video's, music, personal feedback and guidance for performance, the price is for the whole package.
Prices:
Saturdays: Kidsclass 300E for half a season, Flamenco Fundament 300E for 10 weeks
Mondays: for a block of 12 weeks, Beginners 200 E Intermediate 250 E, Advanced 300 E
Thursday: 335E for half a season
